We begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your vision, goals and project scope, while ensuring we're the right fit to work together. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have.

If you choose to proceed, your project will be confirmed with a deposit and we’ll begin the design journey together.

The Process

2 / Site Assessment

We will visit your property for a thorough site assessment to gain a deeper understanding of the characteristics of your landscape and identify any existing design opportunities or challenges. During this visit, we take the time to work collaboratively with you to better understand exactly how you would like to transform your space.

3 / Design Brief + Development

We’ll prepare a detailed design brief capturing your vision, requirements and the key elements that will guide the project.

Once approved, we’ll commence the design process (our favourite part!), developing a thoughtful landscape design that responds to your lifestyle, the architecture of your property and the surrounding environment.

Additional site visits, consultations and design presentations may occur during this stage, depending on the scope of your project.

4 / Design Presentation + Final Documentation

We’ll present the initial design, walking you through the ideas, materials and design decisions that will shape your landscape. This stage provides an opportunity for discussion, feedback and refinement to ensure the final design aligns with your goals.

We’ll then provide the complete design documentation, including high-resolution plans and drawings, ready to guide the next stage of your project.

5 / Begin construction

With the design complete, the next stage is bringing your landscape to life.

Whether you choose to engage KLAD for the full design and construction journey, or work with your own contractor, we can ensure the design intent is carried through with care and attention to detail.
